Opt ins are the key to getting your biggest fans on your email list so you can promote tripwires and other products to sell that might interest them.
 
I also recommend Tripwire 101 For Bloggers: Start Making Money With Your Blog by Saira Perl.  A tripwire is those limited time discounts you see appear after a person has subscribed to an email list. They are great for testing out new products and getting immediate sales from people who are already interested in what you have to say since they are opting in to your email list. This course is informative with tripwire ideas to create, videos and worksheets to get your tripwires setup and money coming in right away from your newest fans. I really need to work on this!

She has a great eye for design and the pins I’ve created so far with her tips have brought a great boost to my traffic. This graphic design course teaches you her tips for creating eye catching pins and gives you 10 Canva templates to use to get started right away. She also takes you through Photoshop but I don’t have that and just use the free version of Canva.

I recommend List by Number by Suzi Whitford.  I love Suzi’s courses because they are incredibly thorough, comprehensive and colorful. She knows her stuff and gives you step by step instructions from signing up with an email service provider to setting up automations to “engineer” your customer’s journey using Mailerlite or Convertkit. It’s very detailed so this is great for bloggers who really want to dive into email marketing and excel at it.
 
OR I also recommend Smart Email List Building by Rachel Newcomb. Rachel is a blogging friend and tribe mate and what I love about her is that she is so great at simplifying complicated topics and giving it toyou in a straight and concise way. She uses her expertise as an email marketer for her day job and her experience as a successful blogger to deliver what you need to get started in email marketing and hit the ground running building your list of raving fans.

I’m rather disgruntled with Facebook and the algorithm game they play with throttling posts with certain words in them, so I don’t pay much attention to Facebook (or Twitter) right now. I know I can’t do all the things and do them all well at this point so I’ve dropped worrying about Facebook and Twitter for now. So I have quite a few recommendations from this section:

I think this is a very thorough resource for setting up your blog as a business and considerations for each financial decision that you make has on your taxes. A necessary read so you aren’t caught off at tax time with a big tax payment because your blog income has skyrocketed!
 
I recommend the Blog Budget Spreadsheet by Lena Gott. A great starting point with everything you need to create a blog budget and track expenses whether you are a beginner or advanced blogger
 
I LOVE swipe copy, especially when it comes to legalese! So these legal disclosure swipe copy are awesome! I spent three times the price of the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit on my Privacy & Disclosure Policy when GDPR first came out so these alone are worth the price of the bundle!

    1. Oh I’m always reading time management books and posts, it’s always eluded me. I think you would love the Daily Productivity Guide because the video is not overly long and the worksheets that come with it really make you figure out what you want step by step in a simple, practical way. Ruth doesn’t just throw the info at you, the worksheets are invaluable and I still use her principles in getting my tasks done and reaching for my goals.     1. It is very difficult to make an income but I’m getting there little by little as I’m slowly learning. I enjoy writing too, I never realized how much until I started blogging.
