Bloggiesta Blogging Marathon – Spring 2016
Bloggiesta is a blogging marathon that takes place a couple times a year where participants are encouraged to tackle our blogging to do lists, join in twitter chats and tackle mini-challenges to expand our blogging horizons. This year’s event runs from March 21-27, 2016. The planning team has added some awesome mini-challenges this year like Joining a Bookish Mastermind Group and getting/giving a blog critique to help take our blogs to the next level. For all the details on the mini-challenges offered and twitter chats scheduled, check out all the details about Bloggiesta here.

Bloggiesta Mini-Challenges
- Organizing Stock Photos. I really need to get a handle on this. I also want to set up a folder for images I’ve taken to use on future blog posts. I have some great photos, but I have to find them!
- Blog Critiques. I have been wanting to do a reader survey to see what you’d like to read about and what you think of my site design so far. I think a fellow blog critique would go well with trying to get information on what my readers and subscribers would like to see. I’m all ears, tell me what you’d like!
Well that’s a lot for me to get done in a week. You know I like to have a big list to keep me motivated and to help me have lots of ideas so I can choose something depending on my mood and energy.
What are your blogging to-do’s? What do you hope to accomplish in Bloggiesta? What other blogging events do you enjoy? What would you like to see me blog more about or what do I need to change in my design? Tell me, I’d love to hear from you!
Wonderful list of goals! Hope you enjoy the Elite Blog Academy! I’ve had my eye on it, but it’s just not in the cards for me right now. And I totally spaced on all of the Twitter chats. Oops! Hope you had a productive week!
Wow, just getting all caught up. My Bloggiesta didn’t work out as planned, but I still managed to squeeze a Twitter chat in π Happy Easter!
Hi Tanya,
Awesome list of goals – hope you’ve had an amazing week at Bloggiesta!
Did you make it to any of the chats?
I made a few but we managed to miss one another!
Just applied to your Book Lovers Book Boost Group – thanks for the invite! π
Have an amazing Easter! :
Wow, what a list! I really love your checklist style post and would love to get as much done as you have planned!
I also made myself a fairly ambitious list- 17 items. We can do it!
Wow! Those are some great goals! I requested to join the facebook group. What exactly is the Elite Blog academy? And how did you do the checkboxes with the checkmarks in your post?
So glad to have you join our Book Lovers Boost Group Lisa. Elite Blog Academy is a 12 unit blogging course to take you from hobby to professional blog. It’s quite an investment so hopefully it’s worth it, so far I’m loving it. The checklist boxes and other icons are font awesome icons. I linked the tutorial of how to install them in this post. https://staging.momssmallvictories.com/january-2016-blogging-goals/
Good luck with your goals. I look forward to seeing what recipe you end up posting, always on the look out for new recipes to try.
As always, I am very impressed by your inspirational goals! Wow. I can barely find time to write reviews (still behind! ha ha) Wish I could join Bloggiesta this time (I never have), but we are traveling for Easter and then next week is spring break, so busy, busy, busy!! My big goal is to finish the last of my February reviews before we leave this week!
Good luck – you are my inspiration!
Sue
Great list, good luck with your goals π Happy Bloggiesta!
Very ambitious! Good luck!
Thanks Lisa, I need it!
Great to-do list! Good luck getting through everything. I love the things that were added to this Bloggiesta and hope enough people participate that they do them again, because I don’t have time to sign up for them this time around. I am hoping to get through my backlog of reviews though!
I know what you mean, I am spreading myself thin with this goals list before I even added any challenges! I love the challenge ideas though. Great way to grow/enhance my blog in ways I had not thought of. Good luck with your review backlog. I won’t even talk about how many I’ve got!
Looks like you have a fun week planned out! I hope you get a lot done! π
PS–Thanks for stopping by my blog! π
Thanks Jenni, I need the luck! I tend to make huge lists of things I need to do. But small victories are better than none at all! Good luck with Bloggiesta and thanks for making your mini-challenge open to everyone. It’s the first thing I completed, now I get to add it to my list π
I’m looking forward to Bloggiesta. I’m going to use this time to plan blog posts for the rest of Spring and Summer.
You are so great at blogging ahead! I need to do that. I think I might be able to do that this week.
